THE EASTER BUNNY TREAT BOX

Here is an Easter Bunny Basket that I have made for one of my grandchildren.  I like to make different things for each grandchild for each holiday.  Hope they like it but for sure they will like the candy.   My hubby loves those little cupcakes that come in clear plastic box so I decide to clean up the plastic box and reuse it for this project.

Cartridges:  Craft Room Basics, Flower Shoppe.
Other Items Used:  Glue, black beads for eyes (I used 2 darice paste-on Eyes and colored them with a black Sharpie Marker because I wanted the eyes to look a bit larger.  One 3-D Glue Zot (to make the nose stand out) and a flower brad to hold the flower together.  For the whiskers I just cut some very thin strips of purple card stock  Ruffle/ribbon around the bunny's neck.

You can get the cricut craft room file here.

The picture above is to let you know what each of the items in the cricut craft room file are for.  I inked up the edges on some parts of the bunny for more detail then I assembled the bunny.  I formed a L-shape piece of cardstock to glue to back of bunny head and to the top of the plastic box so the head would stand up.  I also glued the bunny feet to the front of the box. Of course don't forget the bunny tail (cotton tail) on the back of the box.

Here is another version by just adding an oval shape for the body the same size as the head and add two paws.

EASTER CARD #1

Hi Everyone,
Oh today didn't start off so good ... yesterday my internet service was down off and on all day... so I just finally gave up and called the phone company... about 5 different times...and this morning completely down. so they sent a repairmen today and he fixed it and left but soon I had to make another phone phone call... he came right back and repaired it again this time waited around to see... and sure enough it was back up and running.   Come to find out that snow storm in Kansas did it... I live in Ohio but what happened was their main office is in Kansas and during the big snow storm  their system went down  but when it came back up there were some problems... my internet one of them....  so they had to run some tests and reset the system which a tech in Kansas did but he forgot to save it...so that is why the repairmen had to revisit and have them do it all over again.  So I have been up and running for a few hours now... all is good again with my internet but not so good with the weather... a ice storm hit here this morning so sorry for those that have to get out in this mess.... but for me this means I can stay in and play in my craft room.
So I have started on my Easter Cards... Here is the first one:

Cartridge:  Create a Critter (dog cut at 3.5 inches)
                 Art Philosophy  (egg )
Mother's Day Bouquet (a flower squashed for the hair on doggy's head)

Good morning.... still very cold and snowy here in winter wonderland... I have had my fill of snow but it is not done yet so the weather man tells us.  But the good thing is I have been in my craft room a few hours every day lately.  Here is another Valentine Card.

I used the Art Philosophy cartridge for the hearts on this one.  I used stickles on the hearts also.
